Overview

Rakazo runs AI bots that stay with you. Each bot keeps its own conversations, memory and routines, so it picks up where you left off. Give a bot a computer and it can browse the web, use a terminal and work with files for you.

Features

  • Persistent bots, each with its own chats, memory and history
  • Routines that wake a bot up on a schedule
  • A cloud computer for your bots, with a browser, a terminal and a desktop you can watch
  • Bots that hand work to other bots
  • Bring your own model: OpenRouter, Anthropic, or any OpenAI-compatible server
  • Separate accounts for everyone in your household

Setting up

The first account you create after install owns this Rakazo and can change its settings.

At install you can pick an AI provider. Its key is then used by everyone on this Rakazo. You can also skip it: each person can then connect their own model inside Rakazo, under Settings → Models.

Bots also need a computer provider: E2B, Daytona or Box. Pick one at install and paste its API key. New accounts at each one get some starting credit.

Good to know

  • Bot computers run in the cloud, and you need a provider account. Every bot works on its own computer, even for a plain chat. Rakazo's option of starting computers on the same machine is not included, so the computer comes from E2B, Daytona or Box.
  • You pay your providers directly. The AI provider bills you for each message, and the computer provider bills you for the time a bot's computer runs. Pointing Rakazo at an AI server on your own network costs nothing.
  • Uninstalling does not delete the bot computers at your provider. Rakazo pauses an idle computer after ten minutes, and a paused one uses no compute. To remove them, delete them in your provider's console.
  • Email is optional. Without outgoing email set up, password reset by email is off.
